The AD Series Access Doors have been subjected to extensive market and
engineering research, whic has resulted in the constructions, design and
reange of sizes offered. After exhaustive leakage testing, the positions and
number of cam and lock sets positioned in the corners of the doors to
prevent the frame from curling away from the lid when the ducting "pants"
when under internal pressure. Leakage tests have been verified by independent Laboratory Testing.
All doors offer a strong lid-within-lid construction and are available
in 25mm thick versions. Features : * Choice for 5 conventional sizes. * Available in 25mm (1") thickness. * Galvanised steel construction. * Door is two die-formed and seamless panels in a sandwich construction. * Die-formed and seamless frame. * Positive cam and lock fastening. * One piece extruded gasket for positive seal. * Thermal, acoustic and fire retardant insulation. * Safety retaining chain as standard. * Pre-punched holes in both flanges of frame. * Oval shape for ease of installation. * Cut-out template provided. * Suitable for insulated or uninsulated ducts.
Specifications and Testing : * Conforms to HVAC specification DW144 classes A, B, and C and Eurovent as relevant. * Independent performance tests for leakage. Test report WN 7151 refers. * Tested at an independent Testing Laboratory for leakage to class C of DW144.
Size Selection: The five available sizes of AD series Access Doors were determined after extensive research into engineering codes, job sites, duct cleaning and maintenance requirements. Sizes allow graduating degrees of access, enabling the most appropriate door size to be used for any application. We have the fowlloing sizes: * Size 0805: One hand or sight. * Size 1206: One hand and sight. * Size 1810: Both hands and sight. * Size 2214: Full entry. * Size 2618: Full enter and ladder.
